1985 – First souvenir program cover for Charlotte Motor Speedway (May), a relationship that continues to today. Bass completed the 75th and 76th consecutive covers in May of 2014.
1988 – First-ever corporate car design for Bobby Allison (#12 Miller High Life Buick) won the Daytona 500 the first time the car competed.
1992 – Designed Jeff Gordon’s “Rainbow Warrior” car, revolutionizing the way NASCAR racing cars wereperceived by sponsors, teams and fans.
1994 – Created Lug Nut, the official mascot of Charlotte Motors Speedway; this project led to several other commissions for mascots.
1997 – Designated as the First Officially Licensed Artist of NASCAR.
1997 – Designed special Wheaties paint scheme for Dale Earnhardt Sr. to use in The Winston All-Star Race.The illustration was selected by Wheaties to be part of a special series of cereal boxes.
1999 – Designed Dale Earnhardt Jr.’s #8 Budweiser Chevrolet for his rookie season.
2000 – Opened current gallery outside Turn 2 of Charlotte Motor Speedway
2002 – Started designing Nashville Superspeedway’s trophy: A Hand Painted Gibson Les Paul Guitar; voted by Sports Illustrated magazine as one of the top 10 trophies in all of sports.
2004 – Designed the 1st NASCAR Day Pin for the NASCAR Foundation
2005 – Commissioned by Sony Pictures to design cars, driver and crew uniforms, helmets, promotional art and fan apparel for the Will Ferrell NASCAR comedy titled Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby
2009 – Bass’ graphic designs were selected by The NASCAR Hall of Fame for its official show car and simulator. Also commissioned to create a series of 5 - 14’X18’ Stainless Steel Panels illustrating the entire history of NASCAR, which adorn the Stonewall Street side of The MASCAR Hall of Fame.
2010 – Was commissioned by Aaron’s Rent to completely redesign trophies for their races at Talladega; Incorporated an original painting into each unique sculpture trophy presented to the winning driver
2012 – Celebrated 20 year partnership with DuPont/Axalta and Jeff Gordon.
2012 – Miller Brewing Company commissioned illustration highlighting Brad Keselowski’s 2012 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Championship.
Artwork was used in a National Retail and Consumer Promotion featuring Limited Edition Prints, Posters, and Bar Mirrors.
